Tom has wide experience of both UK and cross-border insolvency and restructuring work.
Representative Experience
- Acting for key stakeholders in a number of high profile insolvency and restructuring assignments including Enron, Gate Gourmet, Government of Brunei, Christie Tyler, and Polly Peck
- Advisory work at board level in relation to solvency issues arising on a number of confidential assignments.
- Acting in proceedings against Arthur Andersen in relation to a professional negligence claim.
- Advising the liquidators in relation to a number of BVI hedge funds.
Professional Background
Educated at Lancing College and Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University, Tom was admitted as a solicitor in the UK in 1995.
Prior to joining SCA in 2006 Tom was with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Weil Gotshal.
